This place is a poor excuse for a Japanese restaurant. No fresh fish, no salmon, and they cannot stray from the menu if you would like something added to a sushi. The chicken teriyaki has no teriyaki sauce..it's a brown sauce with mushrooms. Their salad is chinese chicken salad..in a Japanese restuaurant??? Their cooked eel has a terrible almost rotten flavor. My daughter had the 84 special sushi and it was the most disgusting concoction we have ever witnessed or tasted in a restaurant. Please do not waste your money or time as there are SO many other sushi restuarants in Livermore that you can truly enjoy fresh sushi. I guess the rotten smell as you walk from the parking lot to the restaurant door was a warning..should have taken it and ran!

When I complained about the quality and politely told them the eel sushi was not good, they refused to take it off the menu and made me pay for the 1 piece of the eel my daughter had bitten into...very sad way to treat your customers. In this economy, where we spend our hard earned dollars is important as we have choices...and this one I choose never to venture near again.
