I wandered into the front restaurant of this business (A Dash of Panache) on Vernon St in Roseville and after ordering a nice, affordable lunch with the cheapest white mocha I've ever found, I wandered back further into the building. OMG! They have a hidden french deco tea parlor back there! It is beautiful and they claim it is a unique design for a tea parlor. I made a reservation with a friend for the following week and OMG (again)! The food was gourmet yummy and there were several courses. We also dressed up in their oh-so-cute Vanity Closet. While we were at the tea sitting, I wandered even further back down the hall and OMG, OMG!!! They had ANOTHER room back there where they put on birthday party themes for girls! Why didn't I hear about this place years ago? I've read MANY great reviews online so it sounds like many others know about this hidden treasure in downtown. Now there is another reason to visit Downtown Roseville! Enjoy!

Since we've never been to a French-deco tea parlor, we had to check it out. My mother is always bragging about one she goes to on the east coast so now I get to brag back! The decor was very chic with black table cloths, white doillies, crystal wares, etc. We each got to steep our own pot of tea and the scones were wonderful. The sandwiches were so good I brought my coworker back the next day for their chicken salad sandwich (full size) in their separate cafe (the tea parlor is in the back of their establishment). I've never had sliced grapes in my chicken salad before and it was addicting! We also dressed up in their vanity closet. I didn't like the idea at first but when I finally gave in, I couldn't stop smiling with joy. I had a wonderful experience there. Now I have a good excuse to get my mom to fly out here for the next family visit.
