The website for this coffee shop is totally deceiving. The adjectives used, such as friendly and relaxing are opposite of the truth. The proprietor is friendly as is some of the young staff, however the proprietor's mother, Gloria is something else altogether. She is rude and never has a smile on her face. She has scolded mothers with young children not to sit on the leather couches. She has scolded customers not to move the leather seats and on a rainy Saturday morning approached me in the parking lot of the coffee shop while I finished placing groceries in the trunk to ask me if I had a "meeting" at her establishment the night before. She went on to say that there was a $75 charge for "meetings". This after me and 5 lady friends had gone to her establishment, purchased coffee and sat and discussed a book. There are dozens of dissatisfied ALatte More customers. Also, the bathroom is disgustingly unclean and the garbage disposal area near the main door is typically overflowing. Overall, it is a shame that someone so not "simpatica" is able to stay on and work in a people focused environment.
