This place is in the Walmart Food Court (yeah, I know, but read on) in Glen Burnie, Maryland, along with New York Pretzels, Boardwalk Fries and a Chinese Panda place. The small food course is separate from the store itself but in the same building. All are walkup counters for carry-out or eat in (there are tables and chairs). Now on with the food.
It's not quite fair for me to give an extensive review of A Slice of Italy because I've only had the pizza here, and only cheese and pepperoni at that. It is not an easy thing to find decent pizza by the slice here in the City of Baltimore where I live, so I'm so glad A Slice of Italy is on my way home from work. Of course they sell whole pies, and at great prices. It's also not a far drive from where I live. The pizza is exactly the kind I like (New York style, but they have Chicago deep-dish also), with a thin but not crunchy crust, no gumminess between the sauce and the top of the crust from the crust being frozen, and a decent amount of both sauce and cheese. The sauce is not overly sweet either, it's just right. I am SO GLAD I bumped into someone's comment about this place because there's almost no way I would have bumped into the place itself. I'll be trying one of their pasta dishes next. And did I mention that a slice of plain is under $2.00? What a great find!
The Worst restraunt ever wont go back Rock music in a italian place bread was over done and what do you do to get your food if you pay up front then you should get your food up front.Butter was not big enough.
