Dear “A diner from Plano” my response on this board was not a personal attack to you or the owner but the truth about our dining experience. My response was not a pissed off response but yet a comment on a “Real Live Person dining experience” that is not related to the owner of the establishment.
Maybe since he has been around for every as you put it, he has grown complacent in his unpleasant staff abilities to service his customers.
Don’t worry we won’t spend any of our money with him ever again

Whoever the person that just reviewed this place is, is real stupid. If you are pissed keep it to yourself.
Adelmo's has been around forever. I knew him from my previous two marriages when he was the maitre'd at the Mansion and the Pyramid Room. He cares for your business. He has a passion for his business.
To all the restaurants in Dallas that have closed lately...Maybe if you had a man like Adelmo running your restaurant, then you'd still be open.
Whoever you are that wrote the last review, YOU ARE WRONG. I have been Adelmo's customer for years. I don't spend much money but I still get treated great. Adelmo is my friend.

We made Reservations for 4 people upstairs in front of the window. We arrived 15 minutes before our Reservations time and were immediately hustled to a table downstairs. We asked politely about our request for reservation upstairs by the window in which you would have thought we had just hit the guy but he took upstairs and set us a the nearest table to the stairs.
Food was okay. The service was horrible plus along with the waiters attitude made it that much worst.
When we got ready to leave I lean over to let the owner know our experience & he simply SHOUTED at me “THAT IF I DID NOT LIKE IT DON’T COME BACK!”
So guess what we want be back. I guess the regulars at this place like eating at a place where the owner could care less if he has your business or not.
