I had a vision to create a place that held the energy of my twenties, with the sophistication of my forties.

I wanted that place to be a smoke free environment. I also wanted that place to be someplace where I could celebrate my personal roots, and the way my mom taught me to entertain. She felt that the best way to show her appreciation was to have a party - one of her favorite things to share with friends and loved ones was her homemade sauce. My place would serve her sauce.

During my travels across the US working for corporate America, I would day dream about that place. My place, where I would try to create this "feeling" our community has; the feeling I missed when I was far from home. Yes, I would have new things I was finding, but my place would have the things only "the valley" has to offer.

As a result, I envisioned my place would use all the local favorite foods, and time honored local recipes. Any customer in my place would actually be able to "savor" its flavors.

This is my dream come true. That "dream", that place has become that place! My place AJ's Club Soda, established May of 2004. A place where I get to entertain, and show my appreciation, for all of those people and things I just could never find anywhere else.

I love throwing a cocktail party for my friends and family every night...Club Soda style!
