I am being a bit generous with my review, I think, but my husband and I have been going to Amigo's for well over 20 years, and I can't say that we've ever gotten a "bad" dish from them. Their food seems very dependent upon the chef of the day. Sometimes the food is adequate. Other times the food is really yummy! The service is always good. The husband and wife team who own the restaurant are very attentive. Their paid staff are good, too. The restaurant is cute, with tile tables and bright yellow walls with Mexican artwork all around. The Main Street movie theater is only four or five blocks away, this is a nice choice for an after movie restaurant. If you're not the basic taco and enchilada person I recommend the shrimp vera cruz. A yummy combination of shrimp, pico de gallo sauce, peppers and onions, and sliced avocado.
