I always love their food. Never had a bad meal, the only bad thing is having to choose which wonderful meal I am going to order.

I think the quality of their food is way below average. However, taste is a subjective matter. What is NOT a subjective matter are poor food sanitation practices that result in food poisoning. My husband ordered the Spaghetti with Sausage, Peppers and Onions.
He had a couple of bites and said something wasn't right. I checked it out. What was MOST definitely not right is that they put RAW slices of italian sausage in the sauce. You can put raw sausage on a pizza because the high temps will cook it. You can't just add it to a warm marinara sauce and hope it will cook. You must pre-cook it. So, essentially he was eating raw italian sausage, which is a HUGE risk for food poisoning. And, food poisoning is exactly what my husband got. He was violently ill for the next 24 hours.
Good food or bad food is one thing...toxic food is quite another.
I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, and we will never go back.
We dropped by, just on a lark, to try something new. We were delighted with the offerings, the taste of our food, and the restaurant. Our only disappointment was that the wings are not offered in any serving smaller than 10 wings. I am a gastric-b

Pastabilities is definitly a place i would suggest to everyone. It's a great place to take the kids and a wonderful place to take a spouse. Overall its a superb resturant.
This was an awesome experience. We went with a large crowd. The food and service was excellent and the belly-dancers for entertainment was a nice twist. I highly recommend!!

Beyond A+. The food is always consistent and great. Meals are served quickly, efficiently and always with smiling staff members. The value is the best in town and the plates are bountiful with food. You will never be hungry when you leave.
I have no idea how Appolo Flame keeps winning the "best of" distinctions. Let me first give the positives... The service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is easygoing and the setup seems good for families. The portions of food you get for the $$$ are unreal. If you're just talking about pure quantity for the money, then they are the best.
Now for the negatives... Really, just one gigantic negative. The food. We went there when we were visiting Asheville, and both wife and I were dissapointed in the quality of the salads, pasta, and especially the gyros, which are "steak-ums" style and tasteless; definitely low quality out of a box.
Once we moved here permanently, we decided to give it another chance after seeing their very effective "best of" advertising all around town, and it was even worse. All the food we ordered was lousy, and there was a big dead bug in my lasagna. They offered free dessert, which was nice, but no chance we're ever going back.
Bottom line, a lot of food for the money, but when it comes to quality, you get even less than you pay for.

I can see why Apollo Flame keeps winning Best of..... in local papers. Food is fresh and tasty. My family from NY thinks the pizza is wonderful (and it is a tough crowd to please). Service is great. They are usually on a wait on the weekends which isn't long because they turn the tables quickly. You can see why the locals love it.

This review will disagree with many who disagree with me. From my perspective, some of the worst restaurant food I've eaten has come from Apollo Flame. The sauces are unbelievably salty and the food not terribly appealing overall.
It is a very family & kid friendly restaurant. The ambience is too crowded & unappealing for me -- quite cheesy if you ask me.
You get a TON of food and the prices are very reasonable. If the food were better, it'd be a great value for your your money. I've been to 2 different Apollo Flames around here (and refuse to go back) and the service has been consistently good.
As I said, I know many people who disagree with me and the restaurants are often voted "best of....." around here. http://www.apolloflame.com/ I couldn't disagree more!
