San Jose Restaurant Guide

I live in mesquite Texas, while in the restaurant I was cussed out by the bartender, I find this conduct highly offence and must be deal with accordly, there is no place for this in a public place

One of the best experiences my family has had eating out. Our server Lindsay was kind and funny and made sure everything was perfect for us. She gave us a genuine neighborhood experience.
even though our food took a long time to cook she kept us up to date on what was going on. Great service

Had Lunck today at Applebees's in Rome NY 1794 Black River Blvd The food was great all you can eat soup and salad HOWEVER the service was bad and after waiting 20 min for my second soup and salad I had to return to work and nerver got it. This was the poorest service I had ever received as I watched the male server carry my meal all over the restruant. The sever Lindsay H took my secound oder but never followed up to see if we got it at the table. We never got a refile on our water as well . Not pleased at all and I eat there about once a week when I bring other guest from my office there

My husband and I was vacationing in Lake Tahoe on August 25, 2011 - August 29, 2011 from Jacksonville, Florida. We arrived around 11:00 am on the 25th and about 4:30 pm ( 7:30 pm eastern time)we were looking for some place for dinner and could not find anything serving dinner until 5:30 pm. So we found a Applebee's not far from our hotel at 3987 Lake Tahoe Blvd. South Lake Tahoe, CA. The food and sevice was great, the bartender (forgot to write his down, but was leaving for vacation the next day. ) and the floor manager Scott were out standing. The day befor we left we went to Blue Water Bistro at 6:00 for drinks and dinner and did not like at all so after drinks and a apperetizer we left and came back to Applebee's. Scott ( floor manager )welcome us back and Sammy Smith ( bartender and server ) both were outstanding. We had a great experience. Bob and Frankie Klenk

Although I really appreciate your kindness in feeding me for free because I am a veteran, I am upset that my family, the very people who had to sacrifice for me to do my job have to pay if they want to eat with me. I could never have done it without them, and they deserve to be honored as well.

Our server Erica, was friendly but uninformed of coupon use/ applicability to orders. I asked her to specifically find out if a coupon that I had, which said "one free kids meal per adult entree purchased" would still apply if we ordered the 2/$20 with an appetizer as she suggested to us. If not, we would just order regular entrees so the 3 children with me could get free kids' meals. She "checked with the manager" (Terry) who told her it wouldn't be a problem.

We had our meal and got the check, which still had one of the kids meals on it. I brought this to Erica's attention, asking her to remove it as we were told both would be removed from the check. She went to the manager who came to the table with quite an attitude about me having only one coupon but expecting two free kids meals. He said he would "do it this time but that is not how coupons work" and walked away. He returned to the table a couple minutes later saying he could remove the other kids meal but only if I had a 2nd coupon and word-for-word said "It's not right of you to come in here expecting two free kids meals when that isn't how coupons work". I did not have a 2nd coupon, and made sure to ask about my uncertainty prior to ordering to avoid any situation such as this once we were ready to go.

My point to him was that the coupon said "this coupon is good for one free kids meal PER adult entree purchased" (which tells any normal human that if I had 10 adults and 10 children, that we would receive 10 free kids meals if each adult ordered an entree and dined in!!) I was absolutely mortified when he told me "it wasn't right of me to come in there expecting..." and when i asked my server who he was, she informed me that he was THE store manager, Terry. I thought for sure based on his immaturity at handling the situation and his remarks, along with his unprofessional behavior, that he had to be just a shift manager or something. I will never go back to this restaurant after this embarrassing experience in front of my kids and other guests sitting nearby.

I ate at the Applebees on Edgewood Road, Cedar Rapids, IA, on August 4,2009. After checking my bank account online I realized they had charged me an extra $29.00 to my bank account. I used my Debit card. After calling them they told me they had accidentally charged someone else's meal to my account and they would contact the Corp. office and have them correct the error, but I was to give them 72 hours. So I did, and then waited some more and finally called them back 2 weeks later as they still did not correct the error. Again, they told me to wait at least 72 hours for the error to be corrected. That was at least 7 days ago and still no correction. What do I have to do to get this error corrected? I am becoming very irritated.

This is something that I have never done, but feel so strongly about how I feel.
I am a long time patron of Applebee's. I LOVED the chicken,broccli alfredo.
Oh Saturday at the West Chester Ohio location I ordered this dish. Haven't had it for awhile. It was always my favorite thing. The 1st time it was brought out it was luke warm. So was this dish left over and warmed.No garlic bread.AndI don't feel it was made fresh. I got my meal in about 5 minutes. Second time it was brought to me it was hot but didn't taste right. The garlic bread is awful.Had to ask for garlic bread the second time also. Need to go back to the orginal garlic bread. I will never order this dis again. What a shame to destroy such a great dish. I didn't say anything to the waiter.
