On January 27, 2008 my best friend and I called in a take-out order to your 7971 Six Forks Road store in Raleigh, NC 27615 at 9:00 PM and were told that our orders would be ready at 10:00 PM. At 10:03 PM we walked in to pick up our order only to find that the bags given to us weren’t hot at all and among our orders were: Fried Shrimp and two orders of Boneless Chicken Wings. Food that definitely should be hot!
We were helped by the bartender; I can honestly say that neither of us got his name. We called his attention to the fact that all the food was cold, and we were then informed that the food had been sitting there for twenty minutes. We reminded the bartender that HE told us to be there at 10:00 PM, to which he answered: “Yeah, and its 10:22.” We both checked the time on our cell phones and pointed out to him that the actual time was, by this point, 10:05 PM. He then said that he would be right back, and left.
At this point, we decided that we would be foolish to pay for cold food that supposedly took an hour to prepare and we walked out. The man helping us was ‘short’ with us and had a really rotten attitude when faced with a situation in which WE should have been the ones with a bad attitude. He was indignant from the start, as he seems to be on most his shifts we’ve noticed, and therefore did not discourage us from our disinterest in wasting anymore time on, yet again, sub-standard service!
Love it here. Karaoke on Tuesday's is awesome, and there's always something going on. Food's pricey for not getting sides but drink's are usually fair priced.
