Dined at Aria in June of 2006 with three other friends. Kitchen: Sloppy. Three of four orders had to be sent back to kichen for various reasons: a chicken/artichoke salad with no chicken; another chicken/artichoke salad w/ no artichokes; an overcooked steak. Next, two of the three new meals had to go back for similar reasons. Everything took a long time. Food: the chicken was dry, a medium-rare steak was overcooked-- twice. The steak salad was pretty good. Service: our server was unfriendly, and at times, inefficient. The waiter serving the next table was very nice. Management: Young, seemingly inexperienced, defensive and unresponsive. Charged us for uneaten, overcooked steak. Drinks: house wine was pretty good, and reasonably priced.
