Wednesdays and Thursdays are our favorite days to dine here. Fridays and Saturdays are busy, but the food still shines. Not many restaurants can say that. We love the fajitas, the enchiladas empereador, the mole poblano (again), the sopapillas, the flan, and the Aztec Sunrise is a fantastic and fruity cocktail. We try to dine at the Aztec Emperor at least once every other week, and I've often stopped by just for a drink or a for a take home dish or dessert (flan!). You probably think I'm on the payroll by the tone of this review, but I'm not. I'm just a happy diner who thinks a lot of other people would be interested in experirncing this gem of a restaurant. My family loves Mexican food, but we love it the most at the Aztec Emperor. We still go to other Mexican places, but the Aztec Emperor is special. They hit all the right marks. Give a try just before the weekend. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
