Portland Restaurant Guide

Our building itself is steeped in culinary tradition; before Bar Carlo opened its doors, a traditional Russian eatery, known for reasonable traditional fare, occupied the premises. We've even heard tell of a biker bar in this very spot!

Bar Carlo is nestled in Portland's Foster-Powell neighborhood. Initially a dusty trail frequented by farmers in route downtown, Foster was modeled after wide Parisian boulevards, ideal for strollers. These days, the neighborhood is a delightful mix of Portlanders!

We use local, organic produce whenever possible and only the highest quality meats and cheeses.

Join us for themed Wednesday and Friday night moves starting at 8 pm. Movies are free and are accompanied by drink specials!
