I've been fortunate to have dined at some great US steak houses (Delmonico's, Capital Grille, Peter Luger's), and Barton's belongs in their company. Great food and service. The dining area is nice, but below par when compared to the food. The only real negative is the location -a dingy old strip mall (I've lived in Simi 5 years and did know about it). I really like Dakota's, but the food here is on a whole other level.

One of the few places in Simi Valley where one can experience fine dining. Excellent bar and food, if pricey. Service is what one expects of a restaurant of this caliber.
