I've been to this diner numerous times for breakfast, and everyone has always been super nice, and the food has been typical diner breakfast fare. However, tonight's experience was terrible. First we sat down to a table that had sugar and jelly packets strewn about. Then my food order came out wrong- twice. The waitress was very kind, but the manager gave me this backhanded snippy apology... I was only asking for what was written plainly on their menu. When paying the bill, the cashier just stuck her hand out for the money and barely said thank-you. We were planning to go there for breakfast this weekend with some guests, now I'll be looking elsewhere.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick dinner last night and it was great.
We both had wraps. He had chicken and I had turkey. They both came with fries, onion rings, pickles and cole slaw on a herb wrap. They were both delicious. I took half of mine home for lunch the next day and it was just as great.
The diner was nice and clean and the ladies room was spotless. I wish I lived closer so that I could go there more often.

Me, my husband and a good friend had a late lunch there this afternoon..They enjoyed their gyros..I got a grilled chicken ceasar salad..It was in a large bowl, plenty of chicken but the salad dressing lacked in taste..It was like watered down mayonnaise..There was also a man sitting at a table with a puppy yorkie in a bag that was barking and at one point got loose and was wandering around the restaurant..Other than that everything was ok..They need to make the salad dressing better though..and NO DOGS ALLOWED PLEASE..5-17-10

My friends and I have breakfast here every Saturday. The food is good but they have the worst coffee. It's not an occasional thing, it is every time. Even after returning it and getting a fresh pot. Maybe they should change their brand.

This diner is one of the worst I have ever been to. Little flying insects everywhere. I don't know about you but I can't stand swatting flies away from my food. YUCK!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

This place has changed so much since I was a kid I will always love eating here. I am glad that I was able to bring my kids here.

I was just surfing the web and thought I'd see if there was a site for the Bayonne Diner which my father owned from the 1940's untill he retired in the late 60's. His name was George A. Lorris. Awesome Diner! The food is great and the atmosphere is calming. The diner has many dishes to choose from and now offers wraps and panini's. The owners and cooks are the best!

This diner used to be much better than it is presently. I used to run in for lunch a lot and go for dinner too.
In the past year I stopped going there because the ladies room is revolting, for more than a week there were tiny flying insects all around the dining tables, the food went from pretty good to almost always disappointing and many of the best servers left.
The floors were often cluttered with debris.
Morning is the better time to eat there, if you must. Breakfast might still be okay.
