It was a great experience, pleasant food, good music, and good friends.

Come for the music, not the food. I took my wife to BB Kings to hear some live music. The house band was performing that night and they were great. I wish I could say the same thing about the food. I ordered the combo plate (wings, ribs and potato skins) while my wife played it safe with a burger. Neither of us finished our meals; the food was that bad. Her burger was cold and my meal was only lukewarm. The wings had a house sauce with bleu cheese mixed into it. This wasn't stated on the menu and it tasted terrible (especially since I'm not a fan of bleu cheese). The potato skins were very dry like it had been overheated in a microwave and the ribs...I have no comment on the ribs. We tried to salvage our meal with a dessert of a brownie covered in ice cream. We ordered and waited 15 minutes before the waitress returned to tell us they were out (out of what, ice cream, brownie?) If it wasn't for the band playing, we would not have stayed for as long as we did. We will return to hear the music but I'll make sure I've eaten before I arrive.
It was a great experience, pleasant food, good music, and good friends.
