I have been going to the Blarney Cone for years, but this past summer i believe they have switched owners according to one of the employees that were working this summer. I went in there and i was filthy. There was dirt or something on the walls and it looked like i hadn't been cleaned all summer long. I walked in there to be greeted by an elder lady who would not stop talking at me, it wasn't even to me. There was huge chunks of ice in my ice cream and my husband ordered a soft ice cream swirl (chocolate and vanilla) and that was a melted when he received it and that had bits of ice in it as well. He ordered a "kiddie" size in a cone and i guess that they down sized because they were no longer using the same size cones as they have used in previous years. i have told my friends and i will no longer be bringing my business to the Blarney Cone in the future. I don't eat Hoffmans because my husband and i don't enjoy waiting a hour and a half to get ice cream but we know that we will receive it ice free and not be watch down upon by management.
