LOVE the Smoked Salmon app & the Happy Hour White Truffle oil Fries.

Wine flights are also awesome.

Great modern ambience.

Slow service, kinda the point of a fancy restaurant.

$Saving Tip, go for lunch or happy hour.

They used to have tons of martinis now only ~10 :(

I just read a couple of the reviews and I was surprised. I have had dinners at Bloom a number of times last year and food was excellent. We did an opentable meal and it was one of the best. I admit it was not the fastest service but I attributed that to taking time to prepare the meal well. I will be eating there again in a few days. I will post again.

My wife and I take our nice and her two boys there almost every weekend. The food is delicious, always hot, great service form the staff. I definitely recommend the Mazatlan Skillet as it's my favorite breakfast top with truly fresh avocado slices

My husband and I received a gift certificate to Bloom for Christmas, so last night we decided to go for a nice dinner. Well, let's begin:

We arrived and were seated at 6:50. About 5 minutes later the waiter came by to tell use the specials, about 10 more minutes go by and he takes our appetizer, wine and entree orders. About 15 more minutes go by (all the time waiting for a glass of water too) and we get our wine. Several more minutes our appetizer comes out. We ordered the asparagus bruschetta. The dish was, shall we say, UNDERWHELMING. The bread was soggy, but cripsy on the crust, and the dish itself felt like they put a salad on a piece of bread. It was "OK" to say the least.

When asked how the food was, my husband replied "It was OK". The waiter looked so indignant that we could say "OK" and then left. No, "I am sorry" or "let me check with the kitchen" or anything.

Then, we wait another 45 minutes...45 MINUTES to get our entrees. Our waiter by the by is not anywhere in sight this whole time. Even other patrons were uttering "where is our waiter?"

I get my entree - pork tenderloin with celery root risotto. My husband ordered the steak. I asked for mine medium well, his was supposed to be medium rare.

1) my dish's "celery root risotto" was basically celery root au gratin. I asked the waiter about the "risotto" and he said that he could "get me a rice risotto if I wanted it" but then smirkly added that "risotto is a style of cooking." Last time I checked, the primary ingredient in risotto is rice. It is a traditional ITALIAN RICE DISH. Whatever. His attitude was the problem.

2) my pork was burned on the outside to get the inside correct. This made the entire skin of the pork inedible.

3) my husband's medium rare steak was medium well.

Half-way through the dinner the manager came over to ask about the appetizers. We told him honestly, then he left.

After dinner, the waiter asked if the restaurant could buy us a dessert. My husband and I declined the dessert and asked for a cup of coffee instead. ALMOST 20 minutes later our coffee arrives. We just wanted to get out of there at that point.

A simple meal, one that could easily been cooked at home was underwhelming, over-priced and poorly served -- and took almost 2 hours to accomplish!

Do not go to this restaurant. It is pretentious in its prices and fails to deliver in the food. For the same priced meal, I would suggest a 10 minute drive to Boulder and go to Brasserie Ten Ten. The food and service is outstanding and you won't have to wait an eon to get it either.

In a word, my visit to Bloom was awful. The food was not particularly innovative or inventive, and the prices were ridiculously high given how poor the food was. Physically, the restaurant was in a state of neglect, with a banister hanging halfway off the wall on the stairs near our table. Our waiter barely acknowledged our presence, moving at the speed of continental drift. About what you would expect in a mall restaurant; pricey, plastic, pretentious and pathetic.

Excellent place with a relaxed atmosphere, excellent food (they do seafood very well), above average wine list, and the area of the Flatiron's mall is a very nice party of the property with outdoor setting in a village style setting. The specials are usually unique and a nice departure from the menu. Preparation and presentation are well above average and the price is reasonable but expect a meal to run about $25 to $30 per person without wine.
