I'll start off by saying that the Blue Moose would be a nice place to start a restaurant! It's really gone down hill the last while I'd not recommend it for anyone unless you only want to drink beer.
Another couple, my wife and I were looking forward to a good meal and some drinks. At least the beer was good. The rest was horrible. We paid for it but will never be back again. There is no reasonable assumption that we will get good food and service. It's "hit or miss" at the Blue Moose and that just doesn't work for us.
My buddy's hot wings were cold when he got them. The waitress nuked them up in the microwave and made a real mush out of them. The Guiness Stew might have been pretty good but it was cold also. She nuked up the soup and when she brought it back she gave us the wrong bowls. My wife had the stir fry and my buddy's wife had the beef tips. Same story with those. Cold food that was nuked up to a little warmer than luke warm. We should have had all of our food replaced with fresh good food at the very least.
We should not have been charged for any of what we had to endure. Over $100 later and we are wondering what we should have for supper!
We used to work for whiteys and enjoyed dining there too, the service is great and the atmosphere is even better. We give whitey's two thumbs up, no we're not siskel and ebert, or ebert and roeper, we, are, steve-o and fred, the dynamic bus boys

Blue Moose is a great place to meet friends! They have great appetizers and wonderful dinners!
