I don't know how much stock you'd want to put in the reviewer from DC's review...considering the fact that this restaurant opened in fall of 2008.
To be honest...we were kind of "creeped out" by the owner's daughter (who was dressed in athletic gym attire) doing her best to let everyone in the building know of her "big fish in a small pond" status. How, and why, would I know that this woman (who doesn't appear to perform any necessary function) was the owner's daughter? Well, suffice to say...that's part of the problem. Ambiance? It felt like we were eating in a converted T.J. Maxx store.
The food was "average". I've never tasted "retirement home" cuisine...but after this experience, I'm pretty sure I have. Are spices illegal in Cinci?

My husband and I ate here and it was a horrible experience. The waitress was not attentive. We showed her our online gift certificate and she recommended the special. Thirty five minutes later we received our mediocre food. Also, we received our salads after our entree and our table was dirty. The final straw--when the owner was incredibly rude to us about how our online gift certificate did not work with the special. She then blamed us for her servers mistake and tried to make us pay the full price. It was absurd how rude she was to us. After significant discussion back and forth she finally gave in. DO NOT ever eat here unless you like being treated horribly and you enjoy sub-par food and bad service.

Great place! Terrific food presented in a relaxed atmosphere for 43 years. Traditional family favorites, creative specials, value, full bar, and free parking make this a "must see".
