Bon Vie is a casual, white tablecloth restaurant offering French-American food in a cafe', bistro setting; with hardwood & mosaic tile floors, stucco and plaster walls, large antique mirrors, tin ceilings and a zinc topped bar.
This restaurant is authentic in look and feel to a turn of the century Parisian Bistro.
The Bistro menu, while French influenced, is more American in approach. Bon Vie features "Plats du Jour" (Daily Specials) and a notable Brunch Menu served on Saturdays and Sundays.
I suppose I am a little partial because the owner is my son and I haven't eaten there yet, but good grief he just opened; I believe the reviewer could and should have cut him some slack.
