Churubusco Restaurant Guide

I went in with my wife to have a late lunch / early dinner not too long ago. I had their grinder which is what is making me write this review. Best I have ever had. Seriously... I usually don't take the time out of my schedule to write a review, but this is an exception. It is amazing, and the price is real good on it too. It makes two meals!

They have very good sausage rolls. Their patty melts are also very good. We have not had bad service or food in our visits.

This is the best spot for breakfast in Northeastern Indiana. The food is very fresh, the service is great, the prices can't be beat and you are not inhaling smoke the entire time. We get pancakes, meat, coffee and it is less than 17 with tip for my wife and I. Not to mention the mints you get when you leave. If you find a better place for breakfast, please let me know.

Best steak I had in a LONG time. We have passed by Brevin's a few times on our travels and decided to stop in one Friday night. The Bistro at Brevin's was the best steak I had in a long time. Cooked to perfection and the best price I had ever seen on a steak.

Best pancakes and syrup I have ever eaten...sorry Mom.

Had a tenderloin and the bread was stale and the meat was red and bloody, not cooked. service was horrible and unprofessional.

They have the best all u can eat fish that absolutely rocks!!! Great service assume setting to dine in!

Twice we've stopped on Sunday mornings for breakfast the next day after a Notre Dame game. Both times we've found the food to be very good and the service to be friendly. You get a lot of food for your money and it's priced very reasonably. Our last trip (11/18/07) I had a bacon and cheese omelete which filled the entire plate. A side order of American (home) fries must have been at least two big potatoes worth. My wife ordered pancakes and bacon. Three huge, fluffy pancakes were presented of which she could only eat half. With drinks our bill was just under $15. In hindsight, we probably could have ordered either breakfast and shared.

Great Service and great food at a very reasonable price.

We had a wonderful time, will definetly be back!!
