Kenner Restaurant Guide

I have eaten at the Brick Oven several times in the last year. They have got the best Italian food in New Orleans. They also have then best steaks in the city. They beat Ruths Chris hands down. The service is great, too. They bring out freshly baked bread before your order arrives. If your not careful you will fill up on the bread. Try their Veal Sorrentino, wow! They also have a very nice wine selection by the bottle or glass. The only negative is that the bar is way too small, but the bartender is a real kick.

this place is good only for tourists coming of I-10 from a long trip. One of my worst experiences in NOLA area (I have been living in NOLA since 1995)

Best and most authentic Italian food anywhere. Very friendly, family owned restaurant located on the corner of Williams Blvd. and Veterans. The Brick Oven Cafe makes their exceptional specialty pizzas in a real wood burning fire oven. Consistently consumer reviewed as the number one Filet dishes anywhere in the New Orleans metropolitan area. The Brick offers incredible, signature veal chops that are to die for! After tasting their excellent soups, specialty pastas, salads with the most wonderful and unique homemade house dressing, and fresh fish recipes; not only will you develop cravings for more in the coming days but, you will never have the desire to dine for Italian anywhere else.
