I've recently dined at the Brooklyn Cafe in Sandy Springs, and found it charming and quaint, with wonderful food and very friendly service. The staff was young and energetic and Chef Pinske was at every table to answer questions and offer his personal service. The 'open' kitchen is full of character and moves quickly adding to the energy of the restaurant. Overall our dining experience was an A++, from the calamari to the chocolate bread pudding. I have already suggested the Brooklyn Cafe to my coworkers for a place to "Get outta Atlanta!"

Our favorite Restaurant in Atlanta! My husband and I go to the Brooklyn Cafe about twice a month. We have a 'date night' and have a bottle of wine, always well priced, and a ful meal -appetizers, salad, share an entree, and Bread pudding with white chocolate! Our server is always helpful with wine, we like to try a new bottle often, and the Chef comes by to check on us, which is a wonderful touch! We love the Halibut, which is served Asian style with a rich sauce, and Raviolis with grilled chicken, although we often try the specials. There is often a wait, but we learned quickly to call ahead for the wait-list, and its never long for our table. The decor is quite simple, kind of 'New Yorky', and accomodations are tight, but never crowded. I would highly reccomend this restaurant to anyone looking for a new place to dine, its a great place for a date!
One of the best dining experiences with awesome value. The food is delicious and the outside seating area is great. The amount of pasta you get for the price is incredible. I only wish I lived in Atlanta so I could go more often!
I am astounded that this restaurant is rated as "one of the best" in Atlanta, GA. We would rate it mediocre at best. We found the food to be heavy and "predictable" and that would be "not in a good way."
