About fifteen years later Mike decided he needed a change of life, I think they call that a mid-life crisis! He moved the family out to Colorado and decided to open up a pizzeria. "M.C.'s Pizza by the Slice" was originally started in Lakewood, CO, November 1997. Mike was supposed to run the business but eventually he did need help from his family, so it slowly evolved into a family business run by the four east coasters. After 7 years, an opportunity for a better location opened up in Littleton. So the Colella's packed up and moved locations October, 2004.

The operation has been an exciting and learning experience for the Colella family. Now onto the best part!! THE FOOD!! Mr. Pappa Colella has developed an amazing dough and sauce recipe that no one can compete against! Everything is made fresh daily and fresh to order! The food is out of this world delicious, HELLO, you have third generation Italians preparing this tasty food! The pizza's especially "The Soprano" will make your taste buds cry for more after every bite! Our Calzones and Strombolis are stuffed with meats, vegetables, mozzarella cheese or whatever you crave! Mrs. Momma Colella makes her all time famous homemade lasagna, all pasta dishes are accompanied by a side salad and garlic bread. Oh AND...a favorite appetizer among customers is the "Heaven Bread," which is garlic bread with melted mozzarella cheese topped with tomatoes...one bite and you've been sent to heaven!

M.C.'s Pizzeria currently has one location. You can dine in and place orders to pick up. We do a delivery service through By Jeeves.
