Remember when we were kids and every neighborhood in "Ole New Orleans" had its own family operated po-boy shop. Do these ring a bell...Rocky and Carlos~Lehrmans~Juneaus ~Schnells~Short Stop~Mothers~Central Grocery~ Casamentos...and a lot of favorites "Ain't Dere No More", as Benny and the bunch would say. In 1975 the William Osborne family opened a po-boy shop in Harvey on the blossoming Lapalco Blvd. Since 1980, C.J. Abadie and family have worked to maintain the "Ole New Orleans" style of neighborhood restaurant. In this day of fast food chains and corporate rubber stamp food we will strive to serve the best po-boys, muffeletas with our homemade olive salad, daily hot lunches, awesome seafood gumbo, fresh fried seafood, and the best bread pudding in New Orleans. Dont let your kids miss out on what it means to eat in "Ole New Orleans"!! Thank you and God bless, C.J. and Derek Abadie
I grew up right behind Brothers (I was actually there before they opened). Best damn Po Boys anywhere hands down. If you want great food at great prices then run don't walk to Brother's.
