Absolutely wonderful! We were there last night to celebrate Valentine's Day (yes, a day late) for your dinner for 2. Purchased the coupon on Living Social so we could try out something new. It was unbelievable and well worth the drive from Goshen. Both husband and I got the sampler platter and had a hard time choosing which was our favorite. Everything tasted great. Salad was very a large and plenty of dressing was provided. We especially enjoyed the cheese on the salad. Not just the skimpy shredded cheese as most places. Entrees were huge portions of each item. Very flavorable with rich sauces and cheese. We got one of each dessert since we couldn't decide and they were wonderful. We were very pleasantly surprised and are recommending this fine dining to all of our freinds. Next time we want to try a pizza! The Dinner for 2 is a great price at $40 with everything that is included. Thanks so much for a very memorable Valentine's Day dinner.

What an outstanding meal! The combo salad was fresh and delicious. The sampler meal gave me fettucine, chicken parmesan and lasagna - they all get five stars! Service was excellent from the greeting at the entrance to the friendly waitstaff. This was my first time dining at Bruno's and I'll definitely be back.
This is a great local/family owned restaurant with authentic and delicious Italian food. There is a lot I could say about the place, but to be honest, its one of those places that you need to check out yourself to really appreciate. My wife and I a

one of the best burger joints/bars on west side in south bend. order the fire rock burger, formed by hand, and an order of fries, and you'll be hard pressed to eat it all. very clean, very friendly place.
I love this place! Food portions are manageable and not each individual serving the size of "feeding a family of 4". The food is fresh, pasta is fresh and the staff does an incredible job serving MANY after a Notre Dame Game !!!! The staff is hard w

Bruno's is the bomb! Best pizza I have ever eaten and I am Italian!!! Love the atmosphere...remodeling underway for restrooms. Great service...always with a smile! And Barnaby's won best pizza in South Bend? You have got to be joking!!! Bruno's is a South Bend tradition owned by a wonderful local family and not some chain restaurant. You will not be disappointed here! And while at the Prairie location, try the combo salad...it is to die for!! Love the pasta and meat entrees as well....love Bruno's!!

I love this place!! Too bad it is so far on the south side of South Bend. They do have a couple locations that offer Bruno's pizza, but it just is not the same atmosphere and people who wait on you. One of the best pizza's I have ever eaten!! AND a great value. The pizza pies here are HUGE!!!

Yes, this is a family owned Italian restaurant. We tried the buffet during the week and it was one of the BEST buffets we have ever had. All of the food was made from scratch and delicious. Salads, vegetables, pizza, lasagna, all kinds of Italian meat and pasta dishes...superb. This restaurant is NOT fancy, but if you value good food, this is IT. They are in the process of remodelling, by the way. Maybe that is why on person gave a bad review? Bruno's has the BEST pizza I have ever had. I crave it! And ask for their spumoni ice cream.. Yum!!

Brunos is the worst! I agree with all the posted comments. The pizza is average and the service is awful due to the old lady sitting at the front. They are cheap as you can tell by the delapidated building, nonworking restrooms, the hassle if you use a credit card, and the overall unfriendliness. There are better places to enjoy pizza in south bend.

The best Pizza in South Bend. However, the service is terrible. The waitresses are friendly, but the hostess and the people behind the register are not welcoming, I'm assumng it is the family? I have been going to Bruno's for over 20 years. Nothing beats Bruno's pizza but I would suggest carry out instead of dine in. If you dine in, the service, cleanliness and ambiance will disappoint you. I also think it is very pricey for dine in if you buy drinks and appetizers. There are not free refills and it adds up quickly!

Everybody raves about the pizza here, but I've had it several times now and have never been impressed. Rocco's is better - heck, order some Papa John's. It's not like you go to Bruno's for the ambiance anyway. I've been to two of their locations: pretty shoddy decorating, old grubby carpets, etc. Service is pretty good, I think, and it's kid-friendly. The pizza: it's neither New York nor Chicago-style, and it's just not that great - the texture is kind of rubbery and the quality of the base ingredients is not that great, in my opinion.

The pizza is the best in town. The service is the worst in town. I've eaten at the Prairie St. Bruno's 3 times, and all three times you felt you were forgotten about. I've also brought in coupons, and the owners grumble and make faces at you when you present them. Why have coupons then? Best thing to do is order by phone, and pick it up yourself. Bring cash too. Must spend over $50 before you can use your credit card.

For pizza, I have to give this authentic Italian restaurant FIVE stars! This is the very BEST pizza I have ever had. Try their Italian sausage and add the mushrooms, green pepper, and onions to the pizza and you will be in heaven! They also have an excellent all you can eat buffet during the week with all kinds of Italian yummies! A great place!
