I recently took my family out to eat at this restaurant with expectations of having a good time and a good meal. Unfortunately, what I observed going on in the back turned my stomach so bad that we ended up leaving before the food was served. I saw the preparer fixing our sandwiches without gloves on. He handled the meat and the lettuce and tomatoes with his bare hands. I don't know where his hands have been or whether they were clean enough to handle cooked meat and raw vegetables, especially since the counter where he was preparing our sandwiches was clearly dirty. When I asked the cashier why the food preparers don't where gloves, she just shrugged her shoulders and said that she didn't know much. When my husband asked the food preparer where were his gloves, he shrugged his shoulders too and gave my husband a dirty look, as if he was being challenged. Just as I decided to write it off and take my chances that their mishandling of the food wouldn't make me sick, I observed another worker who appeared to be the manager, handling the tomoatoes with her bare hands in the back and then when the cashier hollered that she needed change, the "manager" come out in the front and removed a wad of money out of the cash register to make change for the cashier. It was at that moment that I told my husband that I did not want to eat at this restaurant ever again. Needless to say, we asked for our money back and left the store without being served. I will never go back to that store again.
