This restaurant is a hidden treasure, not just of Oklahoma City or the State of Oklahoma, but a unsurpassed in the US. My wife is Brasilien, and outside of her cooking and the city of Sao Paulo, which we visit once or twice a year to see her family, Cafe do Brasil is the most authentic and delicious Brasilian food I've ever eaten. The menu is typically Brasilien, with the flavor of the State of Minas Gerais and its capital Belo Horizonte, the home of Ana Paixao Davis, originator of Cafe do Brasil. The restaurant offers an incredible variety of great stuff, from caipirinhas and batidas (drinks with pinga, a sugar cane liquor), to great cuts of beef (picanha, similar but distinct from filet or sirloin) and moquecas (seafood stew) with shrimp or fish. This may be the best restaurant in OKC.
