I absolutely love the atmosphere of this restaurant. The cuisine is delicious and Asian inspired, and their drinks are amazing. My personal favorite is the peach sangria...yum! Waiters are very attentive and cooks are quick to accommodate meals to your personal tastes. You may even see the owner bouncing around the dining room helping the servers and hostesses on any given night! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the city. If you are up for a fun night after dinner, check out their night club upstairs and try their "Level 2 Pineapple" martini, by far my favorite martini on Second Street. A great place for a date or a girl's night out.

I ate there about a week ago wtih a friend and couldn't complain about one thing. The Menu has a big selection for every kind of person. From pizzas to sandwichs and a very nice entree selection...not to mention the daily dinner specials that the Chef Travis Mumma creates are great. I will be back soon...you should check it out.

The food is excellent, absolutely delicious. The service is horrible! They have belly dancers on Saturday nights which is really neat to watch.

I work nearby and I started going here for lunch. You can't beat the price and the ammount of food you get and the atmosphere is great. It is a great place to go and eat and it won't hurt your wallet.

The food is very good and affordable. The owners wife is very unfriendly, grouchy, yells & curses in the morning. Not how you want to start your morning.

The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are very friendly and the restaurant is clean. It's not in the best neighborhood, but it's definitely worth visiting.

Saturday evening my wife and I went over to the Second St. in Harrisburg for dinner. We stopped a neat little restaurant call Café Fresco. We had an excellent meal and fantastic service. The waiter, who’s name was John, was pleasant, friendly and answered all our questions.

We all thought the food, atmosphere and service was well done. We really enjoyed our hour and a half stay.

Cafe Fresco has been a restaurant that I have frequented on several occasions. I keep returning because I like the atmosphere and menu. That all changed tonight.
I took a large group to Cafe Fresco - 16 people in all. The reservation was amended via a phone call during the day, from 15 to 16. When we arrived, the table was set for 15 people. The manager was going to give us another chair and we had to ask him for another full table so 2 people were not sitting on the end of a table. This was a sign of things to come.
We asked our waitresses (we had 2) if we could split the check into 4 separate checks. We were informed Cafe Fresco does not split checks for more than 8 people. When we asked the manager for some help, he told us they cannot split checks for more than 8 people because it would take the servers too long. Allow me to put this into perspective. We had 2 waitresses and at the time we were ordering, only one other table was occupied and they had already ordered. We also had to ask the bar to find our waitresses so we could order.
When we asked the manager if we could put in multiple credit cards, he told us we could, provided the check was split equally among the cards.
Personally, I find the policy of not splitting checks ridiculous. Especially when you consider we could have separated our big table into 4 little tables (hindsight....).
The real rub of the evening was the manager's unwillingness to even meet us half way or compromise at all. It was his behavior that caused all 16 of us to decide we wouldnt be coming back to Cafe Fresco.
I should mention the food here is good, but its simply not worth the customer service. You can get equally good food at a number of other restaurants in downtown Harrisburg. Skip Cafe Fresco. Its not worth the hassle.
