Cafe Marie is one of the few local businesses that advertises on the ultra-right-wing propaganda and misinformation scan calling itself "Fox News." Until they have nothing further to do with those scoundrels, I will no longer patronize their restaurant.

My husband and I have ate at the Cafe Marie's in Oregon lots of times. Sat in lots of differend tables. Had lots of different waitresses. Had lots of different type meals. Always had a great time, good food, - and the waitresses were fantastic and worked their butts off make sure we had the best service. Absolutely a good place!!
I had the Philly Steak Sandwich, my wife had a burger, and we both had fries. They were excellent. The place is nice, clean, and friendly. Remember, this is a pub; if that's what you're looking for, I highly recommend it.
I enjoyed the service very much the waitresses were excellent n very caring :-) , n the food was spot on.. Thgt it'd be different from the downtown location, but that was not the case... I love San Marcos!!!... Thanks for mkn more than one location

I, too, am from Waterville and found what I had to be cold when it should have been hot and took WAY too long. It should NOT matter what you order - if it's on the menu, it should be good. Don't offer it otherwise. FYI - Packo's has more than dogs, don't they? Diversity is a GOOD thing; if you do it - do it right or don't do it at all.

Everything is wonderful! The French Toast, with or without the Rocky Top topping, is the best in the world. The place is spotless, servers are cheerful, food is prepared EXACTLY as ordered, portions are generous, presentation is picturesque, coffee, OJ, & ice tea are superb. The best breakfast anywhere.

This place is a true classic in Toledo for weekday breakfasts and weekend brunches. My family has been eating there for over 14 years. The food is top notch and the service is great. Fresh squeezed oj and water in crafts at the table. The french toast is great and the owner is always around to check up on how you are doing. It's crowded on the weekends but that's what makes it fun. If you're in the Ottawa Hills or Old Orchid area, make sure to check out this phenomenol breakfast restaraunt. As for the Waterville reviewer who ate the phili cheese steak, it's like going to Tony Packos and asking for fish.

Service was SLOW! I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich. It took 20 minutes to arrive and was cold. The WORST Philly Cheese Steak I have ever had!
I asked for a complaint form -- they have none. Places without complaint forms are usually the ones that nbeed them the most.

Great restaurant. It does not get much better than this. From the minute you walk in the door you know you are in for a treat. From moist fluffy pancakes, skillet dishes, to home made omlets this is one of the best places in town. I deffinately give it two thumbs up.

Not a very good breakfast place--only one of two meals its open for--as it serves dry pancakes, lousy salads and tepid omelettes. The coffee is terrible and is more fitting for a bad diner than a mid-scale restaurant. I do not like Cafe Marie, but sadly, it is often the nicest place for breakfast in the Toledo area.
