Though it appears to be a typical Mall pizza place when you arrive, you soon recognize it as much more when you read the menu and smell the aromas. Lots of seating - restaurant and bar go back for 3 rooms - big screen TV's, too! Wine and other beverages available also. Delicious cream of mushroom soup, warm soft garlicy bread sticks, absolutely perfect tortellini alla spinaci - piping hot tender light pasta, sauce to die for, sundried tomatoes, slices of melt-in-the-mouth garlic, fresh sauteed spinach, melted cheese, a little zip to the taste. Also had penne alla puttenesca which was an equal delight. $12.95 for each whole meal - great deal. Service was very friendly and pleasant and competent. Very reasonable Sunday brunch also offered. What a wonderful surprise Café Riviera was - can't go wrong here. Menu is very varied and ambitious and the chef's abilities surely rise to the challenge. Hands down, the best food we have had in the last 7 years in our Delaware visits! Rivals many up-scale bistros/restaurants we have eaten in. Congratulations!
