Norfolk Restaurant Guide

Smoke from the bar area was not inviting to me. Great otherwise.

I am disappointed that they charge for everything... especially at the sandwich prices they charge got to pay delivery...and the delivery people ASK for tips for delivering...omg! that is rude and makes me not want to give it to them...isnt that part of their job? And the spanish signs...this is america people the mexico, spain, phillipines or any where else AMERICA!!! SPEAK ENGLISH!

Because there has been no action or apology received.

To Whom It My Concerns:

My name is Dennis. As of July 14, 2006, I was a favor customer of Cal'Z Pizza Subs N Chicken Wings. On this day I call the Cal'Z location at 3824 East Little Creek Road, in Norfolk, VA. I place a pick up order for two (5) pieces chicken style buffalo wings.

I left my home and drove the twenty-five minutes to the Little Creek locations. Once in the store I stood at the register, and I notice that the kitchen was fully staff and one staff member on the phone taking an order. As I was waiting I see one of the staff member standing in the middle for floor talking to another staff member. With his left hand he lift his shirt up and stick his hand down his paint. Then he preceded to the kitchen using the utensils to handle food.

At this time the staff member on the phone come up to the register to help me. I tell him, I just saw that man stick his hand down his pants. He say to me "who did you see do that." I pointed to the staff member as by now he is walking up to the front. He asked me if I was sure? I told him yes I am sure. The man say "no sir I pull my pant up" I responded, no I saw you lift your shirt up and you stuck your hand down your pant, you didn't lift your pant up. The staff member tell me "I don't believe that because he has never done that before." I tell him your back was facing him, you was on the phone.

They both insist that I was mistaking I didn’t see what I thought I saw. The staff member tell me that I insulted them. I tell him I don’t know this man why would I lie on him or the store. The staff member ask me "what do you want a discount on your order?" I tell me no you can cancel my order. He need to be reported and wash his hands before going into the kitchen and handling foods. Then the staff member say, "you can report this to who every you want, I will give you the number, and I will back him up. Your vision was mistaking."

I was not going to stand in the store and be accuse of lying and be insulted because my right eye lid hang lower than my left eye lid. There was nothing wrong with my vision when I use the phone to dial the number to the Little Creek location. There was nothing wrong with my vision when I got in my car and drove the twenty-five minutes to the store. There is nothing wrong my vision when I get up every morning and go to work and make the money to spend in your stores. Not only do I visit the Letter Creek, but the office I work in, order from Cal'Z on a regular basic. I for one will not be placing any more orders. If that how your staff treat your customer when they have a complains then Cal'Z stores is not a place where I want to spend my money.

pizza is dry, no flavor. subs are okay. wings are the best thing that is going for them.

Sauce for pizza,calzone,meatball sub..just paste no spices or taste.. several pizzas I have had to take back and think with the many pizza parlors in Great bridge they have much work to do...Thanks
