Farmington Hills Restaurant Guide

Food was very good over all. I had enchiladas and it was good but it needed more cheese. One time I had mondo and it was good too but it was only served in a giant bowl. Need to serve in a smaller amount. Love the mexican music! Service was fast but the servers should be more friendly than they were. Little improvements could make this a Great Place to go for a Great Mexican Dinner.

Would have given it a negative 5 stars - third experience there - all the same. After 45 minutes, watching all tables that came in behind us get served, never got food, we left. They should just shut their doors as far as I'm concerned.

We were thrilled with Camelias Mexican Grill at first, the food has always been great, but when we walked in and saw at least 6 tables that needed to be bussed- It was the end for us. They weren't even busy. What a BIG TURN OFF! I miss the good food, but can't get past walking in and seeing that mess!

I had set my eyes on this restaurant ever since i moved into farmington hills. I jus loved the authentic ambience..Initially it was jus the ambience that made me go there . I jus fell in love with their food..The staff was extremely friendly. I felt the meal was very reasonably priced too..I wont mind going there over and over again

I was looking for a good mexican restaurant especially for nachos. Decided to try this one since Trini and Carmen was too far to drive. I am now sold on Camelias. The have the best nachos in town. We are now repeat customers.

The BEST mexican food in the area - The worst service in the area. We have back there many times and only to return ONLY bcause of the food. The Service is VERY bad. Always have to wait about 15 min to get waited on after seated and the 30+ min to get food after order.

I really enjoyed the food. It was authentic mexican and I love the flautas. I really love the margaritas! Really great place to eat!

The carryout is great-food is always hot-ready-pack the right way-I never had to wait long to pickup food to go home. Food is very good. Very clean.

Just went to this restaurant for the first time tonight. It was a below average mexican experience for me. The food lacked the seasoning that you would expect from Mexican family establishment. The ground beef, rice and refied beans and their choice of cheese did not mesh well together and was particularly bland.

The service however far outshines the food and the staff is very friendly. On the strength of the staff I would try the place again if the food was not so dull.

This restaurant does take forever to get you the food (we were the first and only ones there and it took over 30 mins for quesdillas). The food is good, nothing too fantastic, but its a nice change. Does taste authentic which I was impressed with. Price was decent, I was a little annoyed with the fact that a soft drink was $1.75 but thats just me. Very festive looking from the inside. Nice staff just takes FOREVER.

We go here for the food and the margaritas...but never when we are in a hurry. Its takes ages for the wait staff to take drinks, bring food, and lets hope you don't need anything after they do because you never see them again. But their fajitas are fantastic, portions are huge and the margaritas are unrivals...well, except by maybe that cantina in Royal Oak....
