The dishes add a bit of the owner's own signature touch to old favorites. Each course is timed perfectly to arrive with just enough time in-between. Here you can enjoy a leisurely meal, without feeling rushed or waiting for the next course to arrive. The service is exceptional. The waitress makes you feel like you are old friends. The staff offers the right amount of suggestions and descriptions of the entrees. And the waitress checks back to make sure that everything is OK, without the slightest bit of our feeling like she is hovering. While the restaurant is often busy, your waitress makes you feel like you are her most important table. There are exceptional values for wines, shared appetizers, entrees and desserts. Portion sizes are quite generous at Canestaro. You will definitely visit this Fenway gem again and recommend it to others.
