Although I love the BBQ itself, I (as well as others whom I have brought into the restaraunt) find it a little disgusting and unsanitary that the people handle the food with their bare hands - specifically the person who cuts the meat after it is cooked and then picks it up with his hands and puts it on our plates. They really need to invest in some food-service gloves like most places have been mandated to do. We don't know where his (or any other employee's) hands have been and it's not right for anyone to put them all over our food right before they serve it to us. Despite the fact that I love the taste of their BBQ, this has been the one thing that has left me contemplating as to whether or not I'd like to eat there anymore.

If you love bbq, you must give Carmen's a try! This place definitely qualifies as a "hole-in-the-wall," but those in search of great food at a decent price should pay Carmen's BBQ a visit. Yum!
