This is wonderful Chinatown style Chinese restaurant in Edison New Jersey that is right inside the same shopping center of famous Asian Food Center.
We came to eat year since it was grand opening many many years ago, and we came here almost every week or two. Sometimes, during lunch, just to come eat the famous Seafood Noodle, before heading to Asian Food Center to buy some grocery before rushing back to the office.
Sometimes, we came here for dinner with guest from out of state. They have some big round table at the back that seem to be able to put 14 people no problem. It is very delicious and affordable. I have found every time I brought guest here, everyone is eager to pay the bill.
Sometimes, we ran into old friends at Asian Food Center while shopping, and we seemed to come over to this nice restaurant to keep our conversation going and had a nice reunion of our families.
Since it is very close from Edison Train Station, just a few blocks walk, so when there are friends coming from New York City or Queens looking to move down Edison and buy house, we often meet at this restaurant before going to see houses with their realtors.
This is also so close to Catholic Charity at Kilmer that we treat some families there nice affordable Chinese food here, and we can also talk to find out how we can help them. This restaurant seems to have enormous energy as no matter when we were there, there were lots of people eating there.
Later we got one more reason to come here because the next door has a new bank called Cathay Bank where we can come do the banking while having a nice lunch here.
The other side is a Chinese acupuncturist that our American friends we introduce them over would also take them to have nice seafood here. The American here are so "Chinese", they use chopsticks like us, not folks, and believe or not, some can read the menu on the wall. (yes, they put the menu on the Wall like in Taiwan, so waitors no need to serve menu, and guest can just look around and order food.)
One day I even saw a Cocacian kid order in Chinese, then I was so surpised. Her proud parents said that she went to nearby Highland Park schools where Chinese is one of the World Languages taught there. Amazing!
