This is MY first choice for Chinese food in O'Fallon. I drive past three other stores to pick my order up. They prepare their food the way that I like it. I'm from Brooklyn, NY and their food remiinds me of home, unlike most of the other places in town. If there is such a thing as "New York" style Chinese food, and that's what you crave, then this is your place!
I talked to the guy that appears to be the manager there and he's actually worked in a Brooklyn NY restaurant. I'm from Brooklyn, so I knew that this guy can prepare food the way that I like it. Over all, the place is clean, but its more suited for carryout orders. It stays busy so that speaks volumes for customer satisfaction given the numerous other Chinese restaurants in our area. In fact, don't go there. This is like a fisherman's favorite fishing hole. You don't want a bunch of strangers catching your fish do you? Well I don't want a bunch of strangers who keep me waiting for my fix, oops, I meant food. Go somewhere else. I'm selfish.

Ive been ordering take out and delivery from house of hunan for several years. In my opinion, its the best there is. I strongly recommend the crab rangoon and egg rolls. I will never order from anyone else.
