C J Maggies is a something kinda different place. As far as I know its the only place in Ashland you can get a real brick oven pizza. I have two favs the buffalo soldier and the american pie. They have what seems to be an almost endless list of pasta dishes. Sandwiches are good. And they make fries out of get this potatoes. Not some veggie wanna be grease filled straw like some other places. Nachos are different than most. Haven't had their wings in a while but they used to be the best in town IF you can get them at the right temp. Reasonable adult beverage list (for Ashland). Don't know if they still make their own blue cheese dressing but it was also the best around the area. The food and beverages are all priced reasonably and the service is most often good. Can't say as that I've ever been there with a large party. But it seems to me also that Maggies is really designed to accommodate parties of more than say ...eight. And any restaurant you go to with a large party you should expect a longer wait between order and delivery. No, I do not work for CJM I just think it is a good place to enjoy a meal with friends and/or family.

The food was dried out and not very hot when served. All the people in our party (of 12) had some complaint with their food. Most of the complaints had to do with taste. The service was unacceptably slow and the waitress was endlessly apologetic. We nearly were late for an 8:00 concert two blocks down the road after arriving at CJM at 5:45. The average cost per couple was $30.00.
