I grew up on colman's it's always been very enjoyable to eat. I moved to ks and couldn't find a b-que place like colmans, so I always drive back to eat there from time to time and it is still great. Yes it's in the hood but thats where you find some of your best soul food and b-que restaurants at. Some of the workers don't have very good manners but it's cool I'm there for the food.

This is definitely a hood reastuarant !!! Although the food is good,especially the bbq chicken wings,rib tips and bbq fries. However, the surrounding neighborhood is "crack head " central.. There isn't a parking lot,parking is on the busy street.It's not a sit down restaurant. But on the weekends; the place is always crowded. The better location to patronize is the Bellwood, IL. location on Bellwood Ave.
