I HAD THE MOST WONDERFUL DINING EXPERIENCE AT COLONIAL QUY BAU. I HAD A PARTY OF 6 ON A SATURDAY. WE WAS RUNNING LATE. FINALLY WE ARRIVED ABOUT 10 LATE FOR OUR RESERVATION. WE WAS GREETED BY A BEAUTIFUL HOSTESS.MY PARTY WAS SEATED. AS WE WAS LOOKING AT THE MENU.THE SERVER GUIDED US WITH THE SPECIALS OF THE EVENING.THE SERVER RECOMMENDED THE QUY BAU GOLDEN BAGS, BEEF CARPACCIO,ESCARGOT AND THE STUFFED PORTABELLO MUSHROOM WITH CRAB AND SHRIMP. WE ORDER ALL OF HIS RECOMMENDATION. OMG IT WAS AMAZING. PRESENTATION CLEAN AND APPERTIZING. THE ENTREES WE ORDER WAS THE SALMON FISH OF THE EVENING, WILD BOAR, CRISPY DUCK, SHRIMP-SCALLOP AND BEEF,CRABCAKES,SEAFOOD SPECIAL AND CRABMEAT FRIED RICE TO SHARE. EVERY THING CAME OUT ON TIME. ITS WAS FRESH, HOT AND EXTREMELY 5 STARS TASTING. WE TOP THE NIGHTOFF WITH THE SIGNATURE DESSERT CREME BRULEE. THIS IS WHAT THIS TOWN NEED. AN AFFORDABLE RESTUARANT WITH 5 STAR SERVICE AND FOOD. This restaurant is very beautiful with a romantic ambience, but also kid friendly. The service is absolutely perfect with not only the waiters and waitresses taking care of you, but also Cory, the owner. Their very attractive hostess does more than what a hostess usually does and came around to check that everything was ok with us and I found that very friendly and helpful. I believe her name was Cassie, but I could be wrong.
Most importantly, the food was delicious beyond compare. Some may call it pricey, but for good reason. Their salmon is to die for and their chicken tastes so tender and fresh. Their dinner menus need to be upgraded from their printouts and clipboards, but I'm sure they're working on that. I would definitely return once I get the chance.
