Syracuse Restaurant Guide

I recently ate here with my family my waiter was spaced out seemed to be more interested in socializing with the waitresses he worked with than tending to our needs. The staff seemed poorly trained unprofessional and rude. The food was overcooked and the steak fatty.

Waitress was either very new or very distracted. It took over an hour an a half to complete our dining experience. My drink was refilled once during that time, and my daughters was never refilled (yes we did ask). Our food was prepared close to our request, but not as requested. We finally received the bread for the meal just after dessert arrived. After all this, the check took another 10 minutes to arrive and then she wouldn't pick it up for another 10 minutes. It took over 25 minutes to pay the bill. The service completely ruined what may have been an otherwise OK evening. Worst service in recent memory.

Had a great meal at an acceptable price. Party of 7 was served later in the evening - only one other table was occupied. Service just a tad slow, but not unbearable. Filet mignon was very tasty and cooked just right. Prime rib was huge and done correctly. Love the bread! This was my second visit within 8 months - experience at first visit was also good. Go there and enjoy!

Horrible food for the most part. Prime rib was sickly looking and tasted gross. Tilapia had enough salt seasoning to last a sea voyage. Shrimp cocktail was excel and really was our "main" course. My wife and I left half the meat and fish on our plates.

Food was different from what I normally eat (I didn't get the steak!) but it was excellent. Nice atmosphere, too.

GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL. The food was cooked exactly how we ordered it and the waitress even suggested a couple items we wouldn't normally have tried. The attention to detail was nice -- you don't always get that at other restaurants.

The waitress was great with my little girl. Nice kids menu & activities for the youngsters.

Overall, very satisfied! Keep up the good work.

This is easily the worst place that I have ever ate at. We took oue out of town family here for steaks. We had all asked them to be cooked medium rare to well done. They came to us rarer than rare. They were more or less browned on one side flipped over and browned on the second side. We could not send them back as our waitress was no where to be seen. Refills on drinks didn;t happen either. The french fries we cold and greasy. When the waitress did finally show we told her about our less than half eaten steaks being way under cooked, She as if we wanted to speak to a manager who never showed. Our check was dropped off at our table in a hit and run type transaction for which once again she never came back for so I guess it was a good thing we had cash to pay for this worse than worse meal. My advice --- STAY AWAY!!!

Excellent food, service, and value. Best Steak in the region. Try the huge sweet potatoes!

MY BOYFRIEND AND I WERE DISSATISFIED WITH OUR COLORADO MINE CO SPECIAL BECAUSE OUR STEAK WAS VERY DRY. WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE WE HAD HEARD REALLY GREAT THINGS ABOUT THERE STEAK, BUT IT REALLY WASN'T THAT GREAT.

unable to make reservations, but when you finally set (after 1 hour or more) the food is great and the waitress try to keep up their spirits even though most diners complaining of the wait and inability to make reservations-nothing on that respect has changed in past two years despite request to management!

Excellent place to dine. Service and food availability suffers when the place is crowded.Unprepared for a convention crowd.

Always visit Colorado Mine Co when we are in Syracuse. Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Overall a great place!
