A great value. Entrees average $12-$13 and you get more food than most humans can eat in one sitting. The food is above average, (the free garden salad has mixed greens, not just iceberg). The setting and the staff are causual/friendly.
the best pizza in the city and seafood the pooltable is always active and the crowd is mostly local people from nearby sites and well mannered.
crayon and coloring sheets for kids.

My wife, two children & I went to Cosgrove’s for dinner tonight (8-9-08) around 5 PM. I had a porketta sandwich, with French Fries. The porketta open faced sandwich was cold, and the Fries, “almost” done. My youngest daughter had a BLT and the lettuce appeared old. My wife did not get all the food which was a part of her meal. My wife & I had root beer to drink, and even that tasted flat. It reminded one of the “generic” colas & root/birch beers that are sold at Wal-Mart &/or Sam’s Club. While we were waiting for our meal in the dining room, we got to listen to the waitresses screaming at each other because apparently, one of them got an order wrong. We used to love going to Cosgrove’s. After tonight’s meal, I would not recommend this restaurant to a homeless person. Personally, the one star rating was even kind! Perhaps the owner is planning on going out of business & simply does not care about his patrons, or the quality of the food. If so, please, close the restaurant and quit selling undercooked food, served by out of control waitresses. Your staff is as much an embarrassment to your establishment as is your food!!!! I left a tip only because our waitress was not one of those arguing, and because I realize she is merely the person who delivers the food, not the person who cooks it!

The restaurant was empty and it took over an hour just to get my salad, our entrees didn't arrive for another 20 minutes after that and it wasn't prepared the way I had asked. The server was kind and apologetic but I wouldn't go back again.

I only ordered a chicken salad sandwich. It was the worst. The chicken was taken right from a can and thrown on a bun, it wasn't even mashed. We will never go again and we used to go often.
