We LOVE this place. We are lucky enough to go to the Gulf 2-3 times each year for short weekends and this is one of our favorite places. The guy below is a cry baby and a poor sport. We have never had a complaint other than we can't get here more often. I also belong to Trip Advisor and he gave the same "can't handle my liquor" rant there too. All he is doing is embarrassing himself. This is one of the best restaruants in GS. A little pricey, but worth every dime. Roll Tide Roll!!!

Me and my family have been coming to Orange Beach for the past six years spending two weeks or more each year and Cotton's is always on my list for dinner. It is usually nine people in our party, (three kids) and we have always had a very good experience. As a matter of fact we are arriving in Orange Beach May 26, 2008 and the first place I plan to visit is Cotton's. I would reccommend this restaurant to anyone. Great food, good service, and a great atmosphere.

The food was exquisit and very well prepared. However I was ignored at the door while waiting to be seated. Also, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere until you see the manager. Cruela Devil is the only way to describe it.

THE FOOD AT THIS RESTAURANT IS OUTSTANDING; HOWEVER THE SERVICE STAFF IS COMPOSED MOSTLY OF YOUNGSTERS NOT PROFESSIONAL SERVERS. FOR THE PRICES NIX CHARGES THE WAIT STAFF SHOULD BE ADULT SERVERS WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THE MANAGER (DONT KNOW ...

I was very disappointed to learn that Chef Leary is no longer employed at Nix, being that his name is still on the billboard and he is featured on the TV advertising. While he was there the food was superb. Now, it is ordinary. I would not frequent t ...

I hope that [email protected] is happy with the claims that they are making against my restaurant and staff. The persons in this party on that evening know the truth and their account of what happened is nothing more than blasphemy. If I made a practice of their claims I would not be in business today. Yes in the past 23 years we have made some mistakes and unfortunetly there will be more. I do not agree with these one sided forums. I feel that I or anyone else being tainted with negative comments should be invited to respond to claims such as the one displayed about us. Credibility should some how be established. Most today do not want to take responsibility for anything that they do wrong. "Surrond yourself with good people and good things will happen".

This person called me on the phone two days later because he could not remember where he left his car. He said he went to a club down the street and had to much to drink. Once he found out that I towed his car he then began to complain about everything in an effort to get me to pay for the towing. This is a resort area that we live. If he was a local resident he knows parking is a issue any where that you go or stay.

I am a local and know that this restaurant survives only from tourists. It is by far the worst restuarant experience I have had. the food is expensive and horrible. The service was even worse. Our table had a pile of trash, bottles, glasses and dishes on it by the end of our meal. The waitress did not smile once and barely spoke to us. The only reason we ate here was because the wait was short, now we know why. it is worth it to wait longer for a better meal. After this restaurant served us alchohol all night and we were unable to drive home, they towed our car the next day. It was not there for 12 hours and it was gone. After spending over 200 dollars between 4 people, I would hope my car could sit for a day in the parking lot. It makes me sick that a restaurant can stay open with cheap frozen seafood, poor service, and poor management only because tourists dont know any better.
