OK, so the place is a little over-the-top snooty. I mean, come on - naming the place "Prestige World Class"? Come on. And yes, the crowd does from time to time tend to be a little more West-O suburban posturing than you'd like to see, but it's not dripping arrogance and the staff doesn't cop an attitude. OK, and seeing a waitress in a cocktail dress and flip-flops, or carrying a little bitty party purse, is a little odd.

BUT... when we have been there the service has been very good, the food is outstanding, and the prices are about what you would expect for a suburban joint like this. We usually get the salads - try the panko-encrusted salmon, it's wonderful. You won't need an appetizer.

I wouldn't say it's a MUST visit place, but it is actually better than I expected.

If I were you I wouldn't waste my time. This is the type of place that adults who have never grown up go to hang out. It is also the type of place where rich west Omaha people go to show off there money, cars, and fake wives.

First off there is valet parking that isn't needed. I didn't even try the food or wine because it was overpriced. There was a band that was as loud as a shuttle launch playing for a group of forty year old women with no rings. So if you are looking for a cougar this is the place. Trying to get into the place I had to wiggle my way by the broken beer bottle pile and crowd just hovering at the front of the bar doing nothing. I tell you what it was like watching a group of adults who had never partied or never stopped partying.

Let me put this to bed, this isn't a good place to go. It's like somebody from California came into Nebraska and tried to open up a Hollywood restaurant/bar.

I took my family there on a Monday night (6 people) after making reservations for 6 PM. After arriving we waited 1 hour for our food with nothing but water to drink (no bread was served) because we wanted wine with the meal. Although the place was less than half full, menu items were not available (had to be switched at the last minute), the sauces for the steaks were not served (and then not correct as ordered). The steaks and prime rib were overcooked, the one ordered salad came with the entree, the fish contained lots of bones, and the rest of the food was very bland. Our waiter must have known we were unhappy, but did not ask about it or apologize for the slow service. The food was not bad but it was uninspiring and way overpriced. Overall, the dining experience was among the worst I've ever had, which is surprising because I've generally had good experiences dining out in Omaha.

Is this the same place that served me fake crab on my filet oscar? come on people, this isn't even close to a five star experience. Is this the same place that has models hang out at the bar? I have eaten at a lot of places around the country, there is no way this was five stars and there are a lot better places to EAT, not be seen at, in omaha.

Went to Prestige after reading that Don Doty former chef of Taste moved to Prestige. Wonderful food and service. The place was busy and a great environment. The bar is beautiful and great wine list. Our food was outstanding and full of great flavors. I did frequent Taste but have found this to be much more delightful and the atmosphere is awesome.

My wife and I celbrated our anniversary last night at Prestige. We dine out an average of 4 nights a week and I have to say the food and service at Prestige is top notch. The steak I had was the best I have had at any restaurant. We enjoyed a bananas foster after our meal which was made at the table. excellent touch! We will be back often!

The steaks were cooked to perfection and the Chicken specials were outstanding!

What we ordered: escargot, crab cakes, filet oscar, scallop pasta, and tempura fried ice cream. Ambiance: liked the set up, bar was great and no cover for live band. Piped in music was comparable to lousy elevator music. Crab cakes were all right but small. Snails and scallops were way overcooked and very chewy, and the pasta sauce had an odd bitter note to it. The steak itself was good (and the only thing at a real edible temperature, however it was ordered M and served MR), but the crab and something sauce was cold and left scraped onto the side of plate. Way too much butter seemed to be the common remedy for underseasoned food. For the dessert, wow...tempura fried ice cream that tasted just like yesterday's chicken tenders. That oil has not been changed in a very, very long time. Service was good and the staff was friendly. I would go back on a weekend evening just to get drinks and listen to a live band for no cover. Bar selection was respectable and the drinks were good. Really don't suggest eating there especially for the $110 + tip for dinner.

Worst service and meal we have had in a long time especially considering the price. The evening started with a 15 minute wait for our table after making reservations and with very few customers. No one seemed concerned. It took repeated requests to clean up a spilled drink. Drink orders were wrong and took forever. Ribs were mostly fat, luke warm with sauce that was room temperature. The prime rib had no taste and slightly tough. Restrooms were out of soap and not clean. The kicker was the 20% required gratuity. Save money and frustration....don't eat here.

I wish I would have read and heeded the advice of the other reviewers who talk about the horrible service. Wrong food, no drinks, no condiments, no apology, and then overcharge for items I didn't even order! I will recommend to everyone I know to NEVER visit this establishment. I’m sure they will soon be out of business anyway.

I'm sorry, but this was the worst dinning experience I have ever had in my entire life. It's the first time I ever, EVER sent a plate back and told them I didn't want anything else. We waited almost an hour for our meal and when it got there, the garlic mashed potatoes were rubbery and tasted like glue. They literally made me gag! The 2x4 inch Sea Bass was so small I refused to pay $30 for rubber potatoes, 4 bites of fish and 2 pieces of asparagus. I am still wondering where the rest of that fish went to and how in the world you can mess up making mashed potatoes? Not good at all and with all the amazing restaurants in Omaha I will never go back to this one.

Overall my wife and I really enjoy this restaurant. When it first opened over a year ago there were some expected service issues that kept us from going back on a regular basis. We gave it another try about three months ago and found things to be MUCH better. Our servers have been well informed and are dressing more professionally. The food is really exceptional by anyones standards. I have found myself ordering the specials lately and each time have been really impressed by the quality and overall presentation. I want to give the management a high five and say keep up the great work. If the last three months are an example of what we can expect in the future then you will be seeing us for many years to come. Not five stars yet, but I am giving you a SOLID four stars which puts you in the top 2% of all restaurants in Omaha in my book.

All I can say is, WOW! After fighting the crowds downtown for mediocre food and even worse service during the CWS this restaurant beat out every other one in town hands down. The food was spectacular. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmsophere was the best in Omaha. If it had not been for our new friends from California that we met at one of the games we never would have made it out to this fine establishment. I am a cocktail drinker and all we could get in downtown Omaha was watered down drinks in lousy glasses. Here, we were served a great cocktail in a heavy glass tumbler, just the way I like it.

This was our first trip to prestige. Several of our friends go on a regular basis and they have been raving about how great the wine list is. My wife and I were reluctant to go however because we have two young children. To our surprise, Prestige treated us like royalty. They brought out "kid friendly" cow flashlights for the kids to read the menus with and basically went way above and beyond to make sure that the kids were well cared for. Our server even went so far as to make a special apron for our youngest boy out of a dinner napkin. Our friends were right on, this place is amazing! I agree with the person from Arizona that Omaha is very lucky to have something like this here.

I have had many wonderful experiences at Prestige. My wife and I were in Omaha from Denver this weekend and they took us to Prestige. All I have to say is I wish I could transport this place to Denver. We went on Friday night and the restaurant was packed and so we did experience one or two minor service issues but nothing worth getting upset about. Our server told us that they had only been open for a little over one year which probably explains some negative comments made months ago. But I can tell you that this place rivals anything that we have in Denver. For those folks that made negative comments before, I would suggest they take a trip back to one of the nicest venues between Denver and Omaha.

I have had many corporate dinner meetings throughout the Midwest and found Prestige to be superior to many of the restaurants I have used. The food and service were superior, and they were able to accomidate a large group without a problem. They also had high tech audio and video available for our presentaions. I will use them often!

This was our second visit to Prestige restaurant. On our first visit we experienced a couple of minor service issues but nothing that kept us from going back. This time, everything was very close to perfect. Jazz music was at just the right volume and our server (Christina) was on her game and very friendly. We will be making this restaurant one of our favorites and would recommend it to anyone.

Fine Dining???? I went to three or four wine dinners last year and it was the best food I ever had! I decided to go back for dinner a couple of months ago and I'm not sure what happened, bad service and horrible food. Well I tried back yesterday and the food took forever to come out and it was cold and the steak was over cooked. Obviously "Fine Dining" is not something "Prestige World Class" can handle.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever encountered. It was New Year's Eve. We were not told of the $65 per plate when making the reservation. On top of that, after 90 minutes, the hostess came to our table and told us our time was up and that we needed to move into the lounge. We had just been served our entrees! They picked up our plates and moved us to a very small table where we did not see the waitress for another 30 minutes. Also, a vodka cranberry cost $12, and it wasn't even top shelf vodka. When I asked to the manager, the waitress told me, "No. He is too busy." I was appalled. I then spoke with the owner, Jerry, but he did not seem at all interested in my experience. Long story short, my party of 3 dropped about $350 dollars for very poor service and tasteless food. I would never, ever recommend this establishment.
