My friend and I went in and ordered the same thing, a Cheeseburger Club with fries. It took 35 minutes to get our food when there was only about 10 people in the place and most were already eating. The food we got was not even eatable. The toast on the club was have toasted, the meat was ice cold, the fries tasted like old stale oil. When I asked to speak with a manager out of the kitchen came this man with what looked like dried ketchup on his face. He said that they had changed the meat used on the menu and said the toast wasn't toasted because they used too much butter. Then I asked if you knew the sandwich wasn't done properly then why would you serve it, he had no answer. We left with both sandwiches with one bite taken out of each.
Wonderful breakfast! A home-style place without the frills, but good food for the money. My husband had the tenderloin and still raves about how good it was. The waitresses were a lot of fun to talk with. They even fixed my husband a bag of biscuits to go.

a diner from Hickory, NC
I stopped at C's Barbeque north of Mocksville on Hwy 601 on 4.8.2008 for lunch. In my travels that day, I believe I saw C's in Salisbury and Cleveland, NC, also. Anyway, the pork plate was great! Very moist barbeque, great flavor, chopped small enough to get a mouthful on your fork, not too big or too fine. Important to me was the red slaw -- perfect! Chopped very fine, great with the meat. You have a choice of red or white. If I am by there again, I'll get double slaw and delete the baked beans from my plate. The french fries were very good, as well as the hush-puppies. I hope to see one of these restaurants in my area soon.
