I give this restaurant five stars the waiters and bartenders where all very attentive, the one thing that i loved about this place it the food is prepared once you order so you can go with friends and family and just talk everyone is such in a rush now a days that Cubanu you can just relax enjoy some great music and great food. I will definetly be back and will recommend to all my friends and family

What a horrible experience. The food was acceptable but the service made the visit absolutely painful. There was no host or hostess and no one to greet us when we arrives. we finally caught someone's eye and they were kind enough to seat us. Our waiter was the worst waiter we've ever had. Slow and inattentive and he basically cheated us at the end of the meal.
We waited a long time for the waiter to appear after we sat down. We asked for water and I asked for decaf coffee. Off he went, returning 10 minutes later to tell us that they were steam cleaning the carafe after which we would get water and that they didn't have decaf coffee. I eventually ordered a diet coke which took a long time to arrive.
We asked if we could substitute a vegetable for the rice and beans and he agreed to do it, then charged us $4 each for the vegetable as a side dish. We each ordered an appetizer; mine came after 15 minutes or so and my wife's never showed up. Finally we flagged down out useless waiter and reminded him that we were missing her appetizer and it showed up. The entrees were acceptable.
At the end of the meal we received a check that was unreadable - the printer was out of ink. We discovered the 2 times $4 charge for the vegetables and he credited our $25 gift certificate as $20.
We will never go back there again - stay away!

Me and My husband were trying to decide where to eat Saturday night when I remembered about this Cubam place that I've seen a bunch of times because I take the train into NY alot. Were we ever surprised! The place is great, great food, great staff, great atmosphere. The price is just right. We had the empanada and Ceviche and a Trio of meats for dinner. The skirt steak was not seasoned that well but the ribs were excellent And the fried pork was tasty. We will definetlty be going back again......

Let me begin by saying I have NEVER written a review online ever. So understand how furious I am at this restaurant to be posting this.
Very nice hostess and bartender. Pretty waitress. That's where it ends. My husband and I ordered our drinks and told the waitress we were also ready to order our food. Apparently she mistook my order for chit-chat. My husband got his appetizer. I got nothing. About ten minutes later, my husband asked where my salad was and the waitress brought it. A few minutes after that, she brought my husband's entree, and for me, nothing. OK- it's a Saturday- they must be busy- they pride themselves on freshly prepared entrees- so I'll just be patient. So as I patiently sit and watch my husband finish dinner, and all of the people who arrived after us get served, I look for my stunning waitress and there she is, leaning against the wall, as I wave to her. When I ask her where my dinner is, she tells me I never ordered it. So apparently when I said Mariscada she thought I sneezed? The manager "rescued" us by making us pay for our two drinks but "comping" my husband's food. Nice touch. I just ate lettuce and tomato and I've got a show to see, so his promise to get me anything I want in 5 minutes is pretty unappetizing. (We arrived at 6:15. It was now 7:45 and the show was at 8:00.) Maybe the waitstaff needs to write down the dinner order so it doesn't result in a challenge to the diner. Yup- the waitress challenged that I ever ordered. If I could say ZERO STARS I would, but I'll give it one star because the staff is very attractive.

My girlfriends and I got together and loved this place. We had no reservations but they were kind enough to sit us within 2 minutes. The food was delicious and tasted authentic. Desserts, coffee, mojitos were awesome. The waiters (Tony, Rudy, Stephanie) were fantastic and very professional. We met the owners, chef and manager and they too were great and personable. The bar scene was perfect and no young bucks and the drinks are appropriately priced. WILL I BE GOING BACK? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!

Great food and great atmosphere! Definetly going back
Let me be the first to say...I love this place.
It was a last minute find for myself and about 15 friends and co-workers.
The minute we walked in we knew we had the right spot..the aroma of the food was delightful. The mojitos were superb, our bartender Elizabeth was a doll she took great care of us and knew at least a few of us by name by the end of the night.,Our waiter Tony was very helpful and polite and didnt seem at all impatient with us everytime someone showed up late to sit at our table,,was kind enough to bring extra chairs..LOL
The appetizers
were delicious and the music was fantastic,,
all in all we enjoyed getting together but the Restaurant definitely put the icing on the cake.
Oh yeah before i forget it was very inexpensive and that is a definite ++++++.
