My family and I visited the Old Mill over the weekend when we came to town to do some biking on the trail. We really loved the food and the prices were very reasonable. My husband said it reminded him of his grandmother's country cooking. It was a beautiful place and the manager Betty was very friendly and down to earth with us. She treated us very kindly and made our visit very pleasant. I would reccomend this place to anyone visiting Damascus.

This was a cozy restaurant with great food and service in the past, but it is under new ownership. I was told by a locale resident that the new owners have changed The Mill to try to attract upscale tourist $$$ - they have failed miserably. The food quality has declined and the service quality has declined even more making eating at the Mill the low-point of our last trip to Damascus.

Skip this place and drive to Abingdon if you want to dine in full service restaurant.

We visited the restauraunt with my husbands family whom live nearby in Glade Spring. We are from the North and we were blown away at how good the food was!! It was a real treat and the owner Kenny was so nice. It was a nice and relaxed enviroment.
