David's Bistro is a French American bistro where the traditional and the contemporary meet in both the ambience and the cuisine. The simple lines of the alternating Bird's eye maple and red oak walls set the contemporary feel in the original dining room. The 20 foot abstract mural completes this experience. In the new expansion antique wood panels adorn the walls creating a wonderful rich and traditional bistro atmosphere. The banquette seating and the intricate hand carved fireplace make this the perfect space for your special events. The cuisine also enjoys this combination of both the traditional and the contemporary. Some traditional favorites includes the steak frites made with a 10 ounce New York Strip Steak and served with crispy pommes frites or the lamb loin served on a bed of al dente white beans with sauteed portabella mushrooms and asparagus in a veal stock reduction. The pecan and pine nut encrusted tilapia in a saffron mango sauce or the venison chop in an ancho chili sauce with caramelized onions and toasted hazelnuts highlight the contemporary flair. In addition to these house specialties, the patrons can also enjoy gourmet pastas and pizzas. Whatever your choice, chef owner David Maish always creates dishes that are full of flavor presented with an artistic flair. Guest Attire David's Bistro is a casual fine dining establishment where the guests can feel comfortable wearing a suit or dress, but can also feel relaxed in a pair of jeans.

Don't be fooled by the low key atmosphere (which I find adds to the charm) or the location in a not-particularly-attractive strip mall. You will be pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and the enthusiastic and friendly chef and staff. I highly
