Okay so I walked into Davids, and i got greeted by this one lady with black hair and glasses. She was really nice at first. But once i ordered my food, she messed it up two times in a row. when i asked for the owner. She told me okay, then she went in the kitchen and didnt come out. Until 20 mins later! When she came back up to collect my plate i complained and the girl acted like i didnt say anything. for i payed for my drinks and everything besides what th kept messing up on and i just walked out.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The thin piece of chicken did not cover half of the bread. I pointed this out to the waitress, who shrugged her shoulders. I asked if the manager was in and the waitress said yes and went to the bar and talked to the manager (later identified as the owner?). The waitress returned and announced that she was now the "temporary manager" - Insulting and ignorant on both of their parts. I walked over to the manager behind the bar and she unapologeticaly stated that the sandwich had "5 ounces of chicken". Cost, $8.00. Smallest chicken sandwich I've ever had. I am 60 y.o. and not not prone to complaining - but this was the worst. To think I've taken friends there and recommended it to other - never again.
Eddie's House is a completely memorable experience. The food is unique, but utterly mouth-watering. You will not be disappointed in anything the second you walk in through the door. The staff make you actually feel like they want to take care of y

The locals love it, they must love BLAND food. I had steak tacos. Three measly strips on a tortilla with nothing else inside came on my plate. No taste to the food and overpriced. You are better off cooking at home or going to Del Taco if you want so

My Husband had a fab Texas burger (he substituted beef for turkey). I had shrimp tacos... very good! David's homemade salsa is wonderful! So fresh tasting! They are open for breakfast too! David's does not serve alcohol. Very friendly and prompt service right in the heart of "Old Town"! Wonderful "oldies" music was playing the night we stopped in.
